You’re a chronic skin picker, hair puller, nail biter, or other “-er” despite your best efforts to stop. It seems like no matter what you try (and you’ve really tried), the behaviors win and leave you with overwhelming guilt and shame.

We treat BFRBs such as skin picking, hair pulling, and nail biting utilizing Habit Reversal Training, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills. We’ll work together to understand the behavior’s function, strengthen your mindfulness muscle, learn competing responses, reduce shame, accept urges without giving in, and actualize a values-driven life free from the repetitive behavior.
